Construct your own PC from basic parts
You will learn how to construct your own PC from the 7 basic parts:
- Case
- Power Supply
- Motherboard
- CPU
- Memory
- Disk Drive
- DVD Rewriter
All the above parts are included in the price and you will be loaned everything else needed, including tools, keyboard, mouse and monitor. You will take away the fully configured and operational PC that you build on the day. Upgrades to the basic specification of processor, disk and memory are available, please ask.
In addition to building the PC you will learn how to set-up the machine's BIOS correctly and install an operating system of your choice. The Linux Ubuntu operating system is available for free, please ask for prices for Microsoft products.
Please note that the Motherboard installation requires reasonable eyesight and a steady hand. We can pre-install this for you at no extra charge if you prefer.
After this course you will be able to purchase the parts and construct a PC to virtually any specification, for either your home or office. This can save you hundreds of pounds over shop prices and make you a real asset to your company.
